    To allow for essential harbour upgrade works at Ardrossan, the assigned vessel and the assigned vessel will operate a Troon-Brodick service between Monday 7 September to Thursday 8 October. There will be no sailings to/from Ardrossan during this period. View Troon – Brodick timetable operating Monday 7 September to Thursday 8 October. **Shuttle bus information** A shuttle bus service will operate between Ardrossan port - Troon port to connect with the assigned vessel sailings. Ardrossan to Troon bus departs one hour before the assigned vessel sailings. Troon to Ardrossan bus departs 20 minutes after the assigned vessel arrival in Troon. An additional shuttle bus service will continue to operate between Troon train station and Troon port. **Impacted bookings** **Monday 7 September to Thursday 8 October** – Our system has been updated to reflect this change and all impacted customers have been contacted.     Shuttle bus information

    In the event of Gourock - Dunoon sailings are suspended, our Gourock port team may organise a shuttle bus service for customers. Shuttle bus services operate to/from Gourock port - McInroy’s Point (Western Ferries) and to/from Dunoon slip-Hunter’s Quay (Western Ferries) as close to CalMac scheduled timetable as possible. Departure times will always be confirmed and posted within the main 'Sailings' section of the service status page, as this is subject to change. Please note, shuttle buses do not board Western Ferries. CalMac customers will be required to purchase a Western Ferries ticket and should retain their CalMac ticket to travel with us on a future date within the Summer or Winter season it was purchased.     Friday 13 November 2026 – Wednesday 27 January 2027

    As part of the the assigned vessel’s Vessel Improvement Plan, the vessel will be removed from service for an extended period. This is to allow the comprehensive improvements, and upgrade works to be completed. View the single vessel timetable. During this period a shuttle bus service will operate to Western Ferries in place of the 10:15 sailing departing Gourock and 10:45 sailing departing Dunoon Monday to Saturday, this is to allow refuelling and essential maintenance. Read our customer update on the shuttle bus service for more information. The planned overhaul and refit period for the assigned vessel is scheduled from 11 March 2027 to 26 March 2027.

    The last sailing departing Cumbrae is at 20:30 (Monday-Thursday and Saturday,) 22:30 (Friday) and 20:25 (Sunday) Due to volume of traffic, customers are advised to allow extra time for their journey and arrive at the port in advance of the scheduled departure time to guarantee travel.

    Due to a technical issue with the assigned vessel's port main engine, the vessel has been removed from service. the assigned vessel will operate a single vessel timetable. View the single vessel timetable During this period, a shuttle bus will operate at 10:15 departing Gourock to McInroy's Point and at 10:45 departing Dunoon to Hunter's Quay to allow passengers to connect with Western Ferries. **Tuesday 1 September** Due to essential maintenance, the 11:15 sailing from Gourock and the 11:45 sailing from Dunoon are **cancelled**. Service will resume with the 12:15 sailing from Gourock. Foot passenger charter MV Far West will operate this service to the below timetable: **Monday 7 – Tuesday 8 September** Depart Tarbert 07:40, 08:20, 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, 16:40, 17:20, 18:00 Depart Portavadie 08:00, 08:40, 09:30, 10:30, 11:30, 14:30, 15:30, 16:20, 17:00, 17:40, 18:30 **Wednesday 9 September** Depart Tarbert 07:40, 08:20, 09:00, 10:00, 11:00 Depart Portavadie 08:00, 08:40, 09:30, 10:30, 11:30 the assigned vessel is expected to resume service with the 14:00 departing Tarbert. MV Far West departs from the Tarbert and Portavadie Marina Pontoons and not the normal operational slips. Due to the infrastructure at both marinas, passengers must wait at the entrance of the pontoons until met by a crew member. Please note the following sailings will be prioritised for school children: Depart Tarbert - 07:40, 08:20, 16:00 & 16:40 Depart Portavadie - 08:00, 08:40, 16:20 & 17:00

    The Cowal Gathering takes place until Saturday 29 August. Read our customer update on the Cowal Gathering for guidance on travelling with us. For smoother boarding please buy your ticket online in advance. If you’ve purchased a Rail & Sail ticket from ScotRail, you can exchange this for ferry coupon when you arrive at the port. As services are expected to be busier than normal, preferred sailing times are not guaranteed. Please bear this in mind when planning your return journey. **Saturday 29 August** the assigned vessel will operate an amended single vessel timetable on Saturday 29 August. **Customers are advised to arrive at Dunoon Pier by 23:00. The final timetabled sailings departing Dunoon is 00:10.**
