Data
Email address and name only, and only for approved staff accounts. Nobody using the public map or Vessels, Routes, Weather, Updates or Vessel information tabs signs in or is asked to — nothing is collected from a visitor with no account.
“My Crossing” works entirely on-device: your location is read by your own browser, matched against public timetable data on your own device, and never sent to or stored on our server. There is no endpoint that would accept it.
Purpose
Account verification, access control, and security — deciding who a signed-in request is from, and letting an administrator approve or reject a new registration.
Rights
Email the address above to access, correct or delete whatever is held about your account.
No selling, no sharing
Account data is never sold or shared with a third party for marketing or any other purpose.
Hosting
Hosted on Vercel and Supabase, both UK/EU-compliant providers. Neither is used for anything beyond running this app — no analytics or advertising integration reads account data.
