Roadworks A82 near Crianlarich 1 - 3 September
BEAR Scotland will be carrying out signing improvement works on the A82 near Crianlarich from 1 to 3 September 2026 (08:00 to 16:00 daily). Temporary traffic lights will be in place and customers travelling to and from Oban and Mallaig services may experience minor delays. Please allow additional travel time where possible.

A82 Inverarnan – Drainage Improvement Works Monday 7 – Friday 11 September
BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be carrying out essential drainage improvement works on the A82 at Inverarnan from Monday 7 September for five days, between 08:00 and 16:30 each day. The A82 will remain open throughout, but temporary traffic lights will be in place during working hours. These may cause delays for road users travelling through the area. Traffic management will be removed outside of the daily working period. Customers travelling to Oban port may wish to allow extra time for their journey while these works are underway.

A82 Inchree–Onich Overnight Roadworks Monday 21 September - Friday 9 October
BEAR Scotland will be carrying out overnight resurfacing works on the A82 between Onich and Inchree from 21 September to 9 October, with closures in place each night from 19:00 to 06:00 (no works on Friday or Saturday nights). **Impact on Travel** The A82 will be closed as a through‑route overnight, with traffic held until scheduled amnesty escort periods. These will take place at: 8pm, 9–9.30pm, 10.30pm, 11.30pm, 1am, 3am and 5am Drivers arriving outside these times will be required to wait until the next amnesty.
